Bio

By training, I am a physical chemist with specialties in materials and computational chemistry. I’ve earned certificates in Sustainability and Green Chemistry since completing my PhD. I have been involved with green chemistry and Beyond Benign since 2016. I started out learning about it and wanted to learn more, so I just kept going. Since I started this journey, I have gotten more involved with toxicology - I am in the rotation to teach Environmental Toxicology and am taking courses to improve my knowledge.

  • cmwoodbridge was just tagged in a comment: Wonderful to see you leading in this space @cmwoodbridge! I'm here to tag into the chat and welcome to the group, our past working group colleagues @Dean Campbell , @Kyle Grice @Nicholas Kingsley and @Lucas Tucker. I've linked the resources from our past work together in the repository of this group space and look forward to seeing where you all take this next with the community! ...
  • cmwoodbridge was just tagged in a comment: Hi Fábio, thanks for posting to the community! I'm going to tag @cmwoodbridge and @Dean Campbell who have done a lot of work at their respective institutions revamping general chemistry labs to make them greener. Also tagging @David Laviska who has a lot of experience in this area as well. Any thoughts you might be able to share with Fábio?...

  • cmwoodbridge was just tagged in a comment: Wondering if @Annette Sebuyira had any thoughts on this? Annette, was this something that you did or considered when you were teaching? Also this really great article was shared by one of our moderators recently (interview with Joe Feldman, who wrote the book Grading for Equity): https://www.edweek.org/leadership/opinion-what-many-advocates-and-critics-get-wrong-about-equitable-grading/2024/01  @cmwoodbridge is this something you've encountered in some of the alternative assessments that you've considered (like ungrading) and how it might connect?...
