Visiting Professor in Chemistry

The Chemistry Program the Department of Natural Sciences of Pitzer and Scripps Colleges seeks to hire a visiting professor to teach in our general chemistry courses, with opportunities for teaching in upper division courses including organic chemistry lab. The position will begin in January 2026. Opportunities to direct undergraduate research projects are also possible. This position is a full-time, 18-month appointment with the potential for renewal. Rank will be either Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Professor, depending on experience.

Instructor of Chemistry

The purpose of this instructor position will be to develop and teach undergraduate chemistry lecture and laboratory courses for LSU Online and LSU Campus, and to provide service in support for Department of Chemistry as needed. The primary teaching responsibility is General Chemistry, but there is flexibility to teach Analytical and/or Organic Chemistry courses as needed.

Adjunct Instructor for General Chemistry Lab or Organic Chemistry Lab

The Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environment, and Physics (BiCEP) at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for qualified candidates to teach one or more sections of General Chemistry I Laboratory (CHEM L111), General Chemistry II Laboratory (CHEM L211), Organic Chemistry I Laboratory (CHEM L211) or Organic Chemistry II Laboratory (CHEM L211). These courses are in-person laboratory courses, running either September through December 2025 or January through April in 2026. All lab courses run 2-6pm on weekdays.

Instructor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at York College of Pennsylvania is seeking a Chemistry Instructor position to begin August 2025. The instructor will primarily be responsible for teaching general chemistry lectures and labs to science, health science, and engineering majors. These courses will likely be offered in the daytime but some evening laboratory sections may be required.
