Assistant/Associate Professor, Chemistry

The Chemistry Department at Worcester State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2026 with a focus on inorganic chemistry. Though all areas of inorganic chemistry will be considered, research focused on biological/bioinorganic, materials, polymers, and/or electrochemistry will be given preference. Previous teaching experience at any level and/or industrial experience are a plus, but not required.

 

Research Assistant

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto invites applicants for a Research Assistant position in the area of inorganic chemistry, process engineering, chemical engineering, and metallurgy. This position is part of an interdisciplinary, industry-collaborative research project within BioZone at the University of Toronto. This project aims to develop bio-based processes that enable the treatment of mine tailing waste for greater recovery of nickel. The project will involve operating a pilot-scale bioreactor to assess the nickel recovery from mining waste.
