Orbital Materials develops advanced materials and chemical processes by bridging the worlds of AI, synthetic chemistry, and chemical engineering. We are hiring a full time chemistry researcher to work onsite in our newly built laboratory just outside of Princeton, NJ.  

 

About the Role

Your duties will include:

Synthetic Chemist

Your Tasks:

  • Extracting bacterial dyes from various bacteria stems
  • Purification of dyes
  • Characterisation and structural elucidation
  • Solid literature study

 

We are looking for:

  • Solid synthesis background, organic chemistry and organic analysis, natural chemistry
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Excellent laboratory practice
  • Good project management skills

Doctoral researcher in solvent-free synthesis of cellulose-based catalysts
