Nomusa Mguni
Bio
Nomusa Mguni is a water and environmental specialist with extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment, laboratory management, and sustainable resource systems. She earned her M.S. in Sustainable Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where her research focused on modeling the environmental and economic feasibility of membrane ultrafiltration for anaerobic digestate. Her broader research interests include circular economy applications, life cycle assessment, and the integration of green chemistry principles in waste valorization and resource recovery systems. Nomusa is also engaged in advancing sustainability education and promoting interdisciplinary approaches to address global challenges in waste and water management.
