Micke Reynders

I’m a graduate student in the Holme group at Iowa State University, studying systems thinking in chemistry education. My research focuses on helping students develop systems thinking and metavisualization skills to better understand and navigate the complexity of global sustainability challenges. I design and evaluate teaching and assessment approaches that integrate sustainability into chemistry through system-oriented concept mapping, with the goal of engaging students and helping them recognize the real-world relevance of chemistry in solving complex problems.
