Bio

I have been a laboratory technician since 1981, after gaining my degree, working in industry, higher education, and schools. My career started in research on calcium channel blockers and dopamine receptors for a large pharma and then moved into education, splitting my time between cancer research and undergraduate teaching. After a career break I returned to the education sector working in schools. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career and now revel in bringing new ideas to secondary science education and being innovative.
