  • Mary Burt was just tagged in a comment: Hi Julian,For dose-response, have you tried using seeds like this experiment- https://ogoapes.weebly.com/uploads/3/2/3/9/3239894/dose-response_4_0.pdf ? I recall a few faculty trying this out but can't remember what seeds they used. Maybe others can chime in? If not, I can try to engage others who are not here yet. Alternatively, I used to an outreach training on toxicology (and water quality) using daphnia, I can look for the info but I believe getting approval to that is more challenging. (6/19-editing this comment to tag @Mary Burt in case she has ideas for Julian's question as I believe she ran an hazard activity with daphnia measuring their heart rate) Finally, if you want to build out an activity based on sanitizers where the hands on activity is something like this- https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/project-ideas/MicroBio_p014/microbiology/measuring-antimicrobial-effectiveness-with-zones-of-inhibition please let me know. I am currently collaborating on building out a high school version of this elementary lesson and the above activity seems like it would be fun to adapt for a higher ed lesson....
