Bio

I’ve worked as a sustainability & environmental professional for over 23 years, providing outreach & technical assistance to clients. At the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC) on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, I work on projects related to pollution prevention, zero waste, sustainability and waste management planning, and implementation assistance. When I joined ISTC, I worked on content development and maintenance for the Great Lakes Regional Pollution Prevention Roundtable. I've also coordinated an international sustainable electronics design competition, a "do-it-together" repair center for electronics and small appliances, and projects geared toward pollution prevention and food waste reduction at K-12 schools. I serve on the board of directors for the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR), and the Champaign County Environmental Stewards, a local non-profit focused on helping citizens reduce waste and responsibly manage materials.
