Christopher Bender

I've been at USC Upstate, a regional comprehensive university, since 1998. I was hired to teach analytical and inorganic chemistry classes, but now focus mainly on inorganic and general chemistry. My graduate work focused on nanoparticle synthesis of fluorides, but at USC Upstate I dabbled in metallic nanoparticles as well as local environmental testing. We have an ACS certified program, so am looking to bolster the green chemistry content in my upper level classes. I am open to ideas about how to do that...hopefully without losing too much content that I need to cover otherwise!
