I am a Chemical Safety Officer at the University of Chicago and an advocate for green chemistry principles. I oversee various aspects of the Chemical Hygiene Plan, which includes conducting laboratory inspections, providing chemical safety training, performing risk assessments, coordinating emergency response efforts, and reviewing the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
