Beatrice Iwuala

Beatrice Nkiruka Iwuala is a researcher and educator in organic chemistry with a strong focus on sustainable chemical practices and computational drug discovery. She holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Ahmadu Bello University. She is currently conducting PhD research on the molecular modelling and synthesis of chalcone derivatives as environmentally conscious antimalarial agents. Her work integrates green synthetic approaches, QSAR modelling, machine learning, and in vitro biological evaluation.
She is passionate about applying green chemistry principles to laboratory education and research innovation. She actively contributes to collaborative learning communities, promotes safe and sustainable laboratory practices, and supports capacity building in chemical sciences.
