Research Associate in Bio-based Materials from Ionic Liquids

An opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to work on a funded research project involving biobased materials synthesized using ionic liquids in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

The project will focus on ionic liquids as media to pretreat biomass and valorise the fractions into key energy storage materials, a key step in redefining industry and developing a more sustainable bioeconomy.

Purpose of the Role:

Postdoctoral Researcher in Electrocatalysis

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Dasog and Freund research teams at the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects focused on the synthesis, characterization, and performance testing of electrocatalysts for hydrogen generation. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the National Research Council (NRC) and industry partners, providing a rich environment for professional growth and contribution to impactful research.
