Green Chemistry

The Innovation & Transfer Department at the Humboldt University of Berlin (HU) supports scientists and students in transferring their research to the market and society through various transfer channels, e.g. B. Patents and incorporation. The department works closely with Humboldt-Innovation GmbH, which is primarily responsible for the commercialization of research.

A program manager (on-site) who will support the development, production, and management of an Online Certificate Program on Green and Sustainable Chemistry, including the preparation, launch and continuity of the Program.

A Postdoctoral associate with experience in synthesis, electrochemistry, catalysis, or flow chemistry to support the research efforts of a multi-disciplinary team on CO2 valorization and utilization. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will mainly be organic/electrochemical synthesis, compound purification, and compound characterization. Experience in flow chemistry is a bonus but not a requirement. The position is for 1 year with the possibility of renewal.

Widener University is currently seeking an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences starting in the 2024 academic year. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Teaching duties will include introductory chemistry courses and laboratories for both science/engineering majors and for non-science majors, as well as upper-level chemistry courses and laboratories in the area of the candidate’s specialty. The successful candidate is also expected to engage undergraduate students in an active research program.
